Sinfully Scarred Audible Audio Edition KB Winters Lynn Barrington Noel Harrison Audible Studios Books Reviews
- Tate had been wrongfully imprisoned for 6 years for a crime he didn't commit. He had received 3 million dollars plus punitive damages from the government for it . He was going to open a tattoo shop with the money he had received. Teddy was self employed as a reality planner , she had been a runway model and cover girl until an automobile accident had shattered her leg. Her best friend Jana's fiancee Max was Tate's older brother and Teddy was going to Tate's grand opening of his tattoo shop GET INK'D. When Teddy started getting stalked Tate as a friend started helping protect her. This is a great book I really enjoyed reading it , I couldn't put it down until I finished it.
- Author KB Winters has done it again with another great read with Sinfully Scarred. I love her writing style, its easy to read and follow. My favorite part of this installment of the Reckless Bastards MC was the characters! I loved the main characters Tate (Golden Boy) and Teddy (Cover Girl), with there playful and sexually charged banter. It really helped draw me in from the start. I loved that Teddy wasn't this meek damsel in distress, while she was in distress due to having a scary stalker, she was also a strong independent women. But even strong women need help sometimes and Tate was there when she needed it. Oh Boy was he there when she needed it. He was dripping with brooding alpha male essence and damn sexy. He as loyal and honest, which made him that much more attractive. I loved the chemistry between the two and watching the relationship develop friendship to a solid couple. The humor throughout the story helped to make it. They were both at different places in their lives and were thrown into a situation that neither asked for, little did they know but it would change their lives forever.
We also saw more of Jana and Max in this story which was great. I liked seeing their story continue and it was nice that the two stories was very different. This story was a bit light on the MC action, which was a bit unfortunate because I think it needed a little more MC involvement. But overall the story did have a great plot and I really enjoyed the it. Cant wait for the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this to other readers.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of Sinfully Scarred. - I fell in love with the Reckless Bastards in Max and Jana's story and Tate and Teddy just cemented my fandom for these tough but caring guys. This book had a lot of emotion but it is quite different from Max and Jana's story, theirs was more visceral. Tate and Teddy had a lot more humour and I think that showcased the differences between the two best friends as well as the two brothers very well but also why they are all so close. Poor Teddy is being stalked and the stalker is escalating, add to that her growing feelings for Tate who just suddenly disappears, from his own home no less, leaving her hurt and even more determined than ever never to trust or rely on anyone. I enjoyed the banter between them, they fed off each other well and despite what each of them had experienced in their pasts they were both incredibly strong and pretty normal considering.
- The two main characters supposedly joke around too much, but it falls flat. They are not serious about each other. When Tate found out she had a stalker, he didn’t fly off the handle with madness. He just took it in stride because he does not see her as his, they are only friends. There is no love connection here so it’s very hard to read. Teddy is very forward in her sexuality and Tate lets her lead so that’s kind of a disinterest for me too. I’m only about 25% into the story and losing interest fast. I enjoyed the first book which is why I tried the second. There is too much sex. I skimmed through those scenes.
At one point Tate needed head space, so he just left her. No explanation, no goodbye, he just snook out the house, got on his bike and drove to another state. Not once did he think about her protection with her stalker still out there. Talk about caring what happens to the woman your sleep with...not. Although they professes their love at the end of the story, I didn’t feel the connection. Teddy was a good best friend, but otherwise I thought she was too fake in acting like she was a bad arse and didn’t care. I didn’t feel Tate was possessive enough where she was concerned. This was a forced read for me, not sure why I continued. - A real page turner. Full of drama, new love, heartbreak, fear and uncertainties.I truly loved this book and would recommend it to family and friends.
- I like this book. Good read
- I loved t b is second book Tate and Teddy was made for each other both went through trauma and came out the other side keep me very entertained
- Overall the story was pretty good.
Both lead characters were good with great banter between them.
Doesn't really feel like other MC books though. Maybe all the series goes on
